Too right, common sense is out of fashion these days.

AlbaGuBrath Posted on 7:55 pm on May 22, 2002
Italy away would be perfect! That's why there won't be one!

Any infos where the Denamrk friendly will be played? Hampden or somewhere else?
Cheers

William Wallace Posted on 6:56 pm on May 18, 2002
It'd be nice to go to Edinburgh for a change, hopefully it'll go ahead.

I'm fed up of all this uncertainty on the friendly front, hopefull when the World Cup is over and done with, the SFA can get some of them confirmed.

Apparently Vogts was quoted on the friendly.  Easter Road was mentioned.

Game to be 3 days after the Iceland away game.

For a guide to the likelihood of these rumours coming to fruition think of all those rumours we heard on here over the last 12 months...

Egypt, Finland, Morocco mini tournie, Thailand, Czech Republic... And that's only the ones I can remember!

Ah well, the bags are packed, Heathrow seems to be back to normal, and Hong Kong beckons...

Read this morning Berti is trying to get a game v USA or Canada for October maybe in Edinburgh.  Ive also heard the possibility of Spain away in Feburary now that would be a trip and a half!

craig perth pta Posted on 9:34 am on May 18, 2002
i heard italy in rome in november. brazil in feb. is that not perfect or what!

soup dragon Posted on 11:00 pm on May 17, 2002
theres going tae be loads of speculation of who were gonna play but I dinnae think that there will be any confirmation until after the debacle in the Eastern World

WillfaeSwindon Posted on 8:29 pm on May 17, 2002
nothings been confirmed or even rumoured by the SFA.
Bertie has said that he wants to play another top team in november (didnt say home or away) and a south american team away in february either Brazil or argentina. Whether these plans come off is a different matter.

Course Rome would have been magic

Richiefaescotland Posted on 5:29 pm on May 17, 2002
Cheers, hopefully it will be confirmed as this looks a great fixture.

Cheers

Agree DougieR, I'd heard it was a home game, too.

DougieR Posted on 5:19 pm on May 17, 2002
Sorry Richie, still to be confirmed but likely to be at home in November.

Richiefaescotland Posted on 5:16 pm on May 17, 2002
